[A Hidden Gem at Fukuoka Airport｜Washin Tonkatsu Anzu: A Surprising Pork Cutlet Curry Delight]

While exploring the third floor of the international terminal at Fukuoka Airport, I stumbled upon a pleasant surprise in the HAKATA FOOD HALL—a pork cutlet specialty restaurant called Washin Tonkatsu Anzu. What started as a casual pre-flight meal turned into an unforgettable dining experience.
I ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry Set, and it truly exceeded expectations. The pork cutlet was golden, crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside—perfectly executed. But the real star was the curry sauce. Unlike the usual sweet Japanese-style curry, this version featured a rich blend of sautéed onions and ground meat, creating a deeply savory, aromatic flavor that paired beautifully with the crispy katsu.
The rice was top-quality Japanese rice—glossy, plump, and chewy. You can really taste the care they put into each element of the dish. Overall, the seasoning was well-balanced. The pork cutlet and curry were flavorful but not overly salty. The only part I found a bit salty was the miso soup, which left me slightly thirsty afterward, so just a heads-up if you’re sensitive to salt.

I also took photos of the menu, which clearly shows the pricing and meal options. It’s very helpful if you like to plan what to eat ahead of time or want to know what to expect in terms of cost.


Although it’s located in a food court, the dining area has a surprisingly thoughtful and stylish design. It’s spacious, comfortable, and includes practical features like a handwashing sink, water dispenser, and cups for self-service. The staff were also kind and courteous, providing warm, efficient service that made the meal even more enjoyable.

All in all, Washin Tonkatsu Anzu completely changed my impression of airport dining. If you're flying out of Fukuoka and want one last satisfying Japanese meal before departure, this place is absolutely worth a visit. It might just become one of your most memorable airport food experiences—and a delicious way to end your time in Japan.

【星宇 Starlux 初搭筆記：優雅飛行的開始】

這次終於有機會搭乘傳說中的星宇航空啦！ 從踏進機艙那一刻起，我就有種難以言喻的新鮮感與期待感。星宇航空的名字本身就很有魅力，中文「星宇」這兩個字營造出一種翱翔宇宙、漫步星河的意象。英文名稱 Starlux 則更點出了奢華（Lux）的品牌風格，搭配得非常到位。 進入機艙後，映入眼簾的是整齊俐落的設計，以咖啡色和金色作為主色調，呈現出既現代又帶點貴氣的旅行氛圍。尤其是個人座位前方的大螢幕娛樂系統，不但尺寸夠大、畫質清晰，還是觸控操作介面，使用起來非常直覺且便利。值得一提的是，我去程的航班上娛樂系統還有藍牙連線功能，可以使用自己的耳機，但回程的飛機上卻沒有，這代表星宇每架飛機上的設備可能略有差異，大家下次搭乘時可以稍作留意。 座位的舒適度也令人滿意，雖然台北飛福岡航程不到兩小時，但座椅的設計與空間安排已經足夠讓人感到輕鬆愜意。 另外，星宇航空空服員的訓練顯然做得相當好，無論是態度的親切度或服務的熟練程度，都令人感受到溫暖與放心。我登機時恰巧坐在機組人員準備登機的區域旁，看著他們自然、愉快地交談，彼此間融洽的互動也讓我對整個航程更加安心。 現在，重點來了！分享我最期待的飛機餐～ 去程餐點是胡同燒肉飯，味道非常棒，調味適中且肉質香嫩。不過份量稍嫌不足，男生或許會覺得不太飽。 回程則享用了雞肉柚子風味餐，口感清爽且充滿濃郁的日本料理風格。搭配的水果和甜點更是亮點，尤其甜點不會太甜，口感清新，有種畫龍點睛的效果。 但比較可惜的是，回程航班上我注意到餐具並未洗得很乾淨，杯子上似乎有洗碗精殘留的痕跡，稍微影響了整體感受。我向空服員反映後，她立即道歉並迅速更換成紙杯，處理方式親切又專業，讓人感覺到星宇的服務精神。不過也建議星宇航空能針對餐具清潔問題進行改善，畢竟這會影響乘客的用餐體驗。 最後不得不提的是星宇航空的機上雜誌，完全超出我的期待！我在機上翻閱了幾篇介紹西班牙和印尼的文章，不論是照片還是文字，都能感受到編輯團隊的用心與細緻。這讓原本只是填補飛行時間的小消遣，成了增廣見聞的絕佳機會。 整體而言，我非常喜歡這次搭乘星宇航空的經驗，也誠心推薦給大家，期待下次再搭乘體驗其他航線！
